About Me

Hey there! I’m Cindy, and I’m so excited to connect with you through this blog. As a new mom, I find immense joy in the magic of words and the vibrant world of colors. For me, words are like knitting, and bookstores are my candy stores. My Kindle is my portable library that I take everywhere.

Words have the power to change lives—they inspire, empower, and offer comfort when needed the most. Here, I share tips and stories about parenting, minimalism, and health. While some might suggest sticking to one niche, I embrace the variety and joy of learning and exploring.

Why I Created This Blog:

Parenting – Becoming a mom is the most challenging yet rewarding job I’ve ever had. Motherhood is a journey filled with love, joy, and personal growth. I aim to simplify and clarify the overwhelming amount of information out there for parents like me who are short on time and learn best through simplicity and visuals.

Minimalism – I’ve always loved shopping and fashion, but I often find myself staring at a closet full of clothes and feeling like I have nothing to wear. I often feel stressed and am often rushed out the door due to my responsibility of taking care of my son. Like the other day, I had hair clippers on both sides of my head that looked ridiculous while swimming with my son. I didn’t realize I still had the clippers on my head until I noticed “Why did so many people stare at me today”? As I put my hand on my head and felt the clippers and realized I looked like Mrs. Doubt Fire with clippers on her head. It was so embarrassing. I want to simplify my life. So, I’ve decided to embark on a journey to become a minimalist in all aspects of my life. I like Anouk Yve’s words, “Buy less and choose well”. No more following trends, instead invest in timeless and quality pieces that make me feel good. Pieces that I will wear on repeat to maximize their value.

Health – Living with polio and experiencing post-polio syndrome presents unique challenges. Especially with the extra weight I have gained in recent years is taking a toll on my ability to walk. Managing daily routines and fatigue while parenting is tough, but I’m dedicated to finding effective solutions for muscle atrophy and aging.
